Announcing the PNW Senior Playwrights Festival

Supported by The Playwrights’ Center that champions playwrights and new plays to build upon a living theater that demands new and innovative works.

Adult Center Theater (ACT) in Hood River, OR seeks new, original works from playwrights in the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia. Plays must either be authored by Pacific NW seniors, and/or have strong senior characters. Plays of any length are accepted but short plays and one-acts are preferred. Plays received will be held in queue in order received, reviewed and consideration given until slots for a three-day, fall, Pacific Northwest Senior Playwrights Festival are filled.

Restrictions/Unique requirements

PNW only (OR, WA, ID, Northern CA, and B. C.). Plays must either be authored by a senior citizen and/or have strong senior characters. No musicals will be produced, so entries in that genre are discouraged. Submissions, by email only; Subject line: ACT PNW Senior Playwrights Festival, to: actthegorge@gmail.com, attention Gary Young. Submissions must be received by April 15, 2020. PDF format only.
