Just in time to share the Christmas spirit of giving and sharing, the Hood River Valley Adult Center offers a gift to the community (and the world). With just the click on the computer, everyone will be able to join a Zoomcast of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol. Lift your holiday spirits and be thrilled by this time honored tale of redemption and love.

Originally performed in Hood River in 2017 at Wy’east Performing Arts Center, this adaptation was directed by Lynda Dallman and adapted for the stage by Gary Young. The beloved holiday story includes a large and talented local cast with wonderful acting, singing, music and dancing that bring Dickens’ classic tale to life in a fresh way.

While watching the performance is free to all, the Adult Center asks you to consider making a donation to its Capital Fund Campaign that will upgrade the aging Adult Center building, beginning with the kitchen. This is where the magic of preparing and serving 200 Meals on Wheels a day happens in a space and with appliances that has not been upgraded in over 26 years. Look for more information at the website, HRVAC.org.
