Love in 4/4 Time

Love in 4/4 Time, a story of memory, loss and love was written by local playwright Gary Young. The play tells the story of two couples struggling with the effects of Alzheimer's & other dementia and the life changes these illnesses bring.

Young, a retired hospital chaplain, said, “I’ve had the opportunity to sit with patients, spouses and family members, including my in-laws, Joe and Lorraine Barnett, who suffered the effects of Alzheimer’s. These encounters became a core influence of the play.”

Love in 4/4 Time features Alison McDonald-Bryan, John Bryan, Jim Tindall, Pam Tindall and Pam Riedl. The show was funded by a grant from the Salvador Fund of the Gorge Community Foundation.
